Privacy policy
What Bridgr transmits, what your devices remember, and the choices you have.
Last updated October 13, 2026
Bridgr is operated by Jayesh Saini. This policy covers the current Bridgr prototype, this website, and messages you choose to send for support. For privacy questions, contact bridgr-support@sainibuilds.com.
Screen sharing and control
Bridgr connects your iPhone or iPad to a computer you approve. The host must approve a new device before screen sharing begins. During a session, the computer sends its screen to your device. When control is allowed, pointer actions and text you send travel back to that computer. Screen content may include personal information. Bridgr has no session recording feature.
You do not need a Bridgr account. Bridgr does not operate an account service, analytics endpoint, or screen relay in this version.
Information saved on your devices
On iPhone and iPad, Bridgr stores its device identity, trusted computer identities, and paired computer details in Keychain. App preferences store the last manually entered address and a cached network-device list. Computer details can include a name, private address, battery reading, and update time. The Mac host stores its identity and approved-device permissions locally in Keychain.
An approved host can send the device list visible to its Tailscale client. This can include the network name, device names, private addresses, operating systems, and availability. Refreshing this list does not start screen sharing.
Connectivity and Tailscale
Bridgr uses authenticated, encrypted connections and WebRTC for video transport. Tailscale provides network connectivity and may use an encrypted relay when a direct connection is unavailable. Tailscale handles information under its own privacy policy. Bridgr does not promise that every connection follows a direct peer-to-peer route.
Permissions
- Camera: used to scan pairing codes. You can change access in iOS Settings.
- Local Network: used for connectivity where required by iOS. You can change access in iOS Settings.
- Screen Recording on Mac: allows the host to capture the screen for sharing.
- Accessibility on Mac: allows pointer and keyboard control when you grant control access.
Retention and removing access
Saved identities and pairings remain on your devices for reconnection. Disconnect ends the current session. In Computer details, Forget pairing removes that computer’s saved pairing and clears a cached directory supplied by it. To remove the device’s separate authorization on the computer, revoke it in Bridgr Host as well.
Forgetting a computer does not remove this device’s own identity. Keychain items may survive app removal; uninstalling does not necessarily erase all saved identities. You can also stop sharing on the host and manage capture and input permissions in system settings.
Support messages
If you email support, the information you choose to send—such as your email address, message, app and OS versions, and attachments—is processed through the email services used to receive and reply to your request. This information is used to respond, investigate problems, and maintain relevant support correspondence.
Support correspondence may be retained for follow-up and issue history. You can request deletion by emailing the support address; any retention needed for legal obligations or dispute resolution will be explained in the response. Mail providers may retain backup or security copies under their own policies.
Do not send passwords, active pairing codes or QR images, private keys, or unredacted screenshots and logs containing sensitive information.
